Things I’ve Learned in the Past Week
- Very rarely is there such thing as a “coincidence”
- Pizza always sounds good, but it never tastes as amazing as when you were a kid
- I notice the small things
- I don’t notice the right small things
- No matter how vast your vocabulary, or how many times you’ve practiced what you would say should the opportunity arise, or how loud your mind and heart are yelling at you to speak - sometimes, you really can’t find the words
- Pulling a U-turn looks easier in the movies
- I’m going to spend the next year and a half traveling the world
- Writing a horror movie with your best friend is amazing - especially when the script kicks ass
- Patience, young grasshoppa
- I may not be Superman, but I do have a kryptonite
Yeah, I’ve learned my lesson(s) the hardest ways possible. But I won’t make the same mistakes twice - that’s for damn sure.
